Over fifty internationally renowned Higher Education institutes from throughout the UK will attend an event next week designed to provide prospective new students with the information they require to kick-start their academic career.
Esteemed institutes such as Oxford University, the Imperial College of London, Edinburgh University and the University of Aberdeen will be amongst those represented at the annual Grampian Higher Education Convention.
Hosted by the University of Aberdeen and Careers Scotland, the convention takes place on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 September.
Designed to provide those considering entering higher education with essential background information and crucial advice, over 2000 visitors are expected to attend the event which will be held at Elphinstone Hall on the University's King's College Campus.
Open to people of all ages, those attending the event will be offered the opportunity to liaise with colleges and universities from across Scotland, England and Wales to learn more about the range of degree programmes and courses available.
A team of Careers Scotland advisers will be on hand throughout the event to provide impartial and professional career information, advice and support.
An early evening session will also take place as part of the convention, aimed at providing mature students and parents with details on the financial aspects of higher education.
